Comments about HARMAN KARDON THE BRIDGE II Ipod Dock:

Simply plugs into my Harman Kardon A/V receiver.

I was expecting it would limit what songs that I could play from my iPod. Like the iPod car hookups that force you to make special playlists. But I was pleasantly surprised. It gives me full access to my iPod songs through the iPod menu on my TV and receiver.

The down-side is that playing videos is not as simple. You need to change a setting on your iPod to output the video (which you need to change back after you unhook the iPod if you want to watch videos on the iPod again). Also when in video mode you're not able to navigate via the TV/receiver. You need to control the iPod via menus on the iPod itself.

But since I mostly bought this to play music on my home system I'm happy.
