Excellent HDMI A/V receiver. I have this set up with the Sony XBR6 120 Hz 46" Bravia HDTV and a Sony S550 Blu Ray player, along with Polk RM 75 speakers. Wow. This receiver gives excellent audio and is best enjoyed if you're the only one in the house and can crank it to your heart's content. No complaints at all, plenty of HDMI inputs PLUS it's 7.1 capable if you dare! I love this and would highly recommend over the lower end receivers Sony offers...worth every penny. Tons of bells and whistles that you can enjoy...read the manual and you'll see.

This receiver is the heart of my SONY home theater system (46 inch BRAVIA LCD TV + SONY Blu-ray + Paradigm CT70 speakers/Sub Woffer). Simple set up using GUI mode. Excellent features and amazing sound.
Comments about SONY STRDG920 7.1 Channel Receiver:
I use the receiver to give sound to TV, Xbox, Xbox360, Wii, HDTV MediaCenter Box, and Dish Receiver. All come in via component/optical or HDMI, and all export out 1 HDMI cable. This Sony Receiver does it all, with assignable inputs. DD5.1, DTS, all work perfectly. You can also upconvert your 480i, 480p all up to 720p or even 1080p (if your TV supports it). These features are typically found on receiver 2x/3x the price of this unit! Highly recommended!

I have always had Sony Receivers but this one was the easiest to set up and the sound is outstanding. The manual was a bit confusing but reading it twice made a huge difference. Connection were extremely easy. One complaint... why don't they make remotes that light up!!!!

Very nice unit.
Comments about SONY STRDG920 7.1 Channel Receiver:
This unit is perhaps not the best-sounding receiver out there, but has the best feature complement for the money. It upconverts all old analog video sources, and passes the 1080P signal from my PC--all via the HDMI output.
The controls are a little complicated, and you must leave space for air circulation above the unit--it runs a bit hot.
