In overall it is great product and has great sound, I love listening music with this headphone.
Bad thing is that I hear pop noise some time, sort of ESD current flow into the line when I usung my cellphone. I don't know what is it exactly but I can hear it quite some time.

The sound is great, but not the best I've heard. There is too much emphasis on marketing, packaging and design, and not enough on the robustness, quality and value of the product. The battery lasts only about 24 hours of listening time. I also hate the fact that you have to turn it on and off from the switch on the headset. If you forget to turn it off, you'll drain the battery overnight! It makes you wonder, why didn't they integrate an auto-off feature or something similar.

This is an outstanding quality headphone. I sampled both these and Bose, and found these Dr. Dre's to have superior clarity and sound. It is an investment WELL worth it!!

My Bose finally fell apart after several years of use.
The Beats look cool, sound pretty good, but seem to be fairly flimsy. Definitely do not have the noise canceling quality of the Bose and are not nearly as comfortable.

I have used a lot of different headphones and have always been satisfied but I finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase Beats by Dre and it's like my eyes have been opened to a whole new way of listening to music. Very good sounding headphones with full bass. Fit is good and they definitely are stylin'. My only complaint is the AA battery and on/off switch. I keep forgetting to turn them off and it burns up the battery. The battery cover is a little tricky - for this much money, the design could be better. I do love these headphones sound though, my kids keep trying to steal them from me....
