I purchased the VocoPro Mark 12 Mic because I own a party planning business and we are constantly using our Karaoke machine. This mic is extremely durable.
I am not afraid to let young kids handle it because I know that it is well made. The sound quality is excellent. Kids love hearing themselves sing, but with the Mark-12 I really think children think they are real professionals with such a professional looking microphone. I love this mic. My eleven yr. old daughter is a budding singer and she loves the Mark-12 also. She thinks it picks up every nuance of her voice. So, I am sold and I would recommend this mic to anyone.

I got this as a replacement for a same model that we got years a couple of years ago when we got the VocoPro karaoke. I can see that the internal structure has been revised so maybe this one will hold up better than the orignal. I like the heavy, shiny, metal case and metal windscreen. Mic sounds the same as our other Mark-12 which was most important to us.
But mostly, the price is GREAT.
As a side bonus, the mic comes with a CD case that has about 8 CDGs - a nice variety of songs.
