I bought this as a simple sysytem to run that my 83 year odl Mother could play her LPs on. It works well for that. My only issue is that the bottons and their labels are diificult to see for me and much more Mom.

I bought this player for my mother so she could play her old records. It's a great combination with record player, radio, CD and tape and has connections for external speakers a big plus. The internal spekers sound is good enough that I ended up not adding additional speakers. I would recommend this for someone that wants a record player without having to add a receiver and speakers but definately not as a receiver for the center of a stereo system.
