I have 2 of these beauties delivering great sound in my backyard (smaller yard, approx. 1500 sq. ft.). Great bright sound with nice bass tones even when running a lower levels. These guys really rise to the occasion when maxed out as well. I am purchasing 2 more of them for the yard so I can have a balanced listening experience in all four corners. I use a SONOS system (powered amplifier with wireless transmission of music data...awesome!) to drive the 2 and am confident that the addition of 2 more on the same amplifier will be within the rating of the amp. I did a listening comparison between 5 or 6 outdoor speakers at a the local [...] then bought my Yamahas at Abe's for their great price! I am not a Yamaha guy (on the payroll, etc.) by the way. Just love the performance vs. the price. Almost as good as Sonance's speakers when comparing speaker size. One last thing...the first pair that I purchased has been functioning flawlessly for two years now. I have also painted them to match my rockwork. They are NOT protected from rain, etc. Great buy for the price. I always brag to my friends about the cost vs. the sound quality.
