This receiver can't be beat for all the functions it has and expandability. It was purchased to play mp3s on DVD-Rs, but does everything else and more. There are codes out there to help tweak it, i.e. play movies while driving, etc.. I first purchased the wiring harness adapters, the dash install kit, then this receiver. The plastic dash interface had to be trimmed a bit here and there, but fit perfectly in my 4Runner. Be sure to use the metal strap that goes on the back to keep this unit perfectly still while driving. Movies look great on it and the sound is outstanding with Dolby 5.1. My wife will be getting one in her car, once we rotate back stateside.

UPGRADED FROM A 9511 TO THIS AND ADDED NAV, LIKE THAT ITS ALL IN ONE UNIT. THE BLUETOOTH IS NICE BUT THE SOUND QUALITY IS NOT PERFECT TO THE PERSON BEING CALLED(NOT SURE WERE THE MIC IS LOCATED ON THE UNIT). THE PIP IS A COOL FEATURE TO USE WITH THE NAV. THE SCREEN IS BETTER THAN THE OLDER MODEL.

Not happy at all, bought due to good price but malfunctioned after only two weeks. Had run around with audiovox about warranty [...] Worked for a few months and malfunctioned again. Blue tooth quality is not good just overall a disappointment. Spend the extra $$ and buy a name brand.
