Within 30 days of purchase unit would go into calibration mode and then give a service required message. This happens several times a day. Have been able to reset to default settings. Not happy. Will contact Bel about problem.

Best Settings by Beltronics are straight out of box.

Never annoying.....as most detectors are so.

I actually have not found things that aren't so great about the Bel Vector 995. If their hidden must be forever and so that's also great about it also.

It seems that when this was first designed, it would have been one of the best, at this exact moment in time though, it's a bit dated. On the highway it works well, but in the city it has a few false positives. The voice notification and different beeps are nice, red display matches the interior of a Pontiac....
