The laptop is really fast. But it runs best with a cooling pad, especially if you are playing games.

I wish the battery life was longer and that it came in all black instead of with the design and lights.

The screen size is perfect and the 1080P is great! The Speed-Boost feature is incredible. Start up and shut down times are finally reasonable.

Great laptop, but it has one HUGE flaw. If you have the Synaptics touchpad drivers installed, then you can't type more than maybe 60-70wpm without it skipping letters. And without the synaptics drivers, the hardware key to disable the touchpad doesn't work, and it becomes super sensitive with a generic driver, and continually moves the mouse cursor due to palm touches. Syanptics is no help, nor is Asus support; they brushed me off with a BS reply and haven't responded since (2 weeks ago). The only way I've been able to deal with this is to "upgrade" the driver to a device that isn't compatible, so basically I break the device with a driver for another piece of hardware in order to turn it off (there's no way to disable it with generic drivers)Other than that, I love it. Luckily I keep a mouse attached and don't move around too much, or this laptop would be unusable.[...]
