Great laptop - fast, fully-sized and ergonomic keyboard, slim design (though not something anyone would double-take at).
If you're looking for a netbook, something ultra-portable that you could easily spin around the house in one hand, go for a smaller and lighter one.

I plan to use this laptop overseas with a small solar power system; total energy consumption is more important than long battery life. This laptop has both! With a 13-inch screen and dual core processor it burns the same average watts as my 10-in older Eee 1000HE, which has been my favorite computer up to now. But it runs much faster than the Eee.

I haven't found anything to complain about yet except that the touchpad is super sensitive... I'm still trying to tweak that but I might have to give up and use an external mouse.

The machine runs well with Ubuntu Lucid and Maverick, another requirement for my working environment.
