I bought one of these units for my mother. The first time she tried it, it functioned as intended. However when she tried to use it on just battery power, it died. (even after being charged for over a day). She called, and was told to return it to somewhere in California. She got it back and still the same issue. The product does work, and it's easy to use, but without it being portable takes away one of the reasons i bought it in the first place.
