The battery lasts about an hour and a half and apps start slowly, but once running, there is no issue with internet browsing, office applications and software development tools. I recommend this as a 3rd computer for use when traveling. The keyboard is slightly cramped for me, but definitely useable and the battery is fine for short term use away from a plug.

I bought it with the idea of using it while traveling. It is borderline with 1GB memory. Get 2GB. It will be well worth it. Keyboard is a little hard to use but with practice it is usable. Still a good value for the buck.

My wife took it to some religion study classes and it provided all the necessary functionality needed for note taking, document/text/reference reading, and also connecting to the on-line classes.
