Slightly on heavier side, but excellent machine for the price. Super overall performance in all respects. When you are buying electronics, don't forget that even the latest technology will be obsolete the day after your purchase. Considering that, this machine is serious value for money.

Very stable, no heating problems. You don't need a more powerful machine for personal use. True Value for money.

HTML, USB2 & Ultanav are great - hate touch pads but this one is easy to disable.
Too much included software, particularly short-duration previews (McAfee & Office) - also don't need shopping suggestions - spent some time removing these.
Removed Norton (which would cost about $60 to activate) and installed a $19 mail-order version.

After 2 weeks of ownership, I am in love with this laptop. Under $600 price tag, including all the bells and whistles any professional would want.
DDR3, expandable to 8GB of ram, super quiet keyboard and mouse. Separate ins,del,home,end keys and pgUP, pgDN. HMDI output, VGA output, plus eSata and express card slot. B-G-N wifi card, webcam and SD card reader.
This laptop is completely upgradable, cpu, memory and HD. The 8GB expandibility of DDR3 is a huge plus for me. I will be able to continue to use this computer for years to come by simply adding more memory as needed. I do not play video games, so the Intel Graphics card works fine for my needs (photoshop, hd video, programming)
