Comments about Gemini PL-02 Light Module & Power Conditioner:

Overall a very nice unit, although very basic documentation (but then, what does it really need?). I like having the lights at the top of my rack, together with the blue LED voltage display, power line conditioner, and 8 outlets in a 1U rack slot.

The 7 grouped outlets on the back are std. spacing, with no room for larger plug-in voltage adapters, but then I don't need those plugged in here. It would be nice to have the one AC outlet on front, like the Furman, but saving 50% on this makes that palatable.

Had I not arbitrarily checked the Gemini website, I would not have known about the July 2008 recall. I feel every company selling items of this nature should have online product registration, Gemini does not. That way customers could be notified about any updates or recall issues via e-mail.

Hey, it's not a Furman, but then it's priced a lot better. Some sites say this item is discontinued. Perhaps this was the fallout from the recall issue.
