For the price, you can NOT beat this stand. I had the original Odyssey stand and it didnt fold down and was ruined within a few months. This stand folds down, comes with its own lightweight carrying case and is very solid.

With the birth of DVS (Digital to Vinyl System), our foundation and database for our music collection is now digitally stored in our laptops. Whether it is Traktor Pro or Serato Scratch Live, the audio boxes and the software, which is installed on the laptop needs to be placed at a convenient location.
So Odyssey came up with the idea to create a laptop stand/mount for laptops so that DJ's could easily work with their digital workstations with their existing gear. And so was born the LSTAND. The LSTAND was great! It was sturdy and it was very versatile in the sense that you could mount it on your flight cases, etc. It was amazing and it was a must have for any DJ. However, there was one flaw to the original LSTAND. It was terrible to transport. It wouldn't fold or budge, and you had to disassemble it with screw drivers to carry it in a bag.
Odyssey went back to the drawing board and came up with the solution that would already top their existing product. The LSTAND Mobile. The LSTAND M is a variation of the LSTAND that allows it to be folded, so that you can easily collapse it and carry it if need be. It even comes with a small pouch so you know it is definitely mobile. No longer do you have to go with the hassle of not being able to store it and carry it comfortably.
LSTAND Mobile is a definite must have and order it with the LSTAND Tray. It is times like these that makes you wonder what those guys at Odyssey are up to next? Maybe a hovering stand, who knows?

Great build. (By far the best you are going to find for the money in my opinion) Need to pay attention to how you are loosening the joint knobs on the unit. Lost one the first night out and was crawling around the space looking for it.[...]Overall so much better than the alternatives.
