The tripod that is included with the system and the clamp on the back of the controller are not perfectly mated, so it requires a shim to keep the controller stuck to the upright.

Other than that, this system was ready to go right out of the box. The cans are labeled so you can tell which color is which, but no gels are needed. This makes for a nice, neat appearance.

The system is bright enough and the chase effect of LED vs. Tradional bulbs is a vast improvement. When traditional bulbs are chased, the one that is turning off will fade for a noticeable time. With LED fixtures, off is off. That makes for a much better looking show.

The whole system is very lightweight and easy enough to carry. I would have paid another $50 on the retail price without question for a case that would allow me to transport the 4 cans attached to the crossbar and the tripod and footswitch.
