Comments about MBT ME4700 Spinning Star-Color Effect Light:

Im a professional DJ. When I saw that this boasted 300 watts I though I could look past the almost 20lb weight. I bought a pair of them for use with my mobild DJ business. After using them for the first time their brightness was dissapointing. Becasue they are only activated when plugged in this is another disadvantage of the light. They should have a switch near the plug (which I went out and bought seperately at Lowe's and installed myself) that activates the light. Another dissapointing feature is that the manufacturer recommends that they only be used in 10 minute intervals. '
I have a pair of plastic ones that are 75 watts each and seems to be just as bright as these, yet they came with the switch I was speaking about earlier, and weigh about 5lbs each. Problem with these is they are made of plastic and the colored discs seem to want to pop out intermittently during a gig.
There seems to be no good solution to this colored disco light problem!
Too much money for not enough light, and alot of weight.
