I bought this product to record my LP collection onto my laptop and turn them into MP3s. It works great. I had to get one other thing to be able to record from record player through this mixer into my laptop, that was a RCA to USB adapter. This adapter would NOT be required if I had a desktop. It's been fun turning those LPs into digital for my iPod. Also, I know if I got a second turntable I could be a DJ with this mixer also. Very versatile.

I don't have a stereo anymore so I needed an amplifyer to hook up to my turntable so I could drop my LP Albums onto my hard drive. This devise is the perfect solution.
