I read a lot of other reviews before I bought this mixer, where people praised the mixer but complained about the crossfader. I like long, seamless mixes. I dont scratch or beat juggle. Half of the time my crossfader is just set in the middle,and i use the level faders for subtle, gradual mixes. that being said, this is a great mixer for the money. good sound, smooth controls. I could care less about the quality of the crossfader, so i have no complaints!

I have the previouse version of this mixer and I liked the color scheme much better on it. The black and orange is cool but if you mix somewhere and there is low lighting conditions good luck seeing the knobs and faders. The faders and knobs are textured unlike the previouse version so it gets bonus points there. Overall the sound on this mixer is crisp and the fader is perfect for both scratching and mixing. It's not too big and not too small for a 3 channel mixer. Get this mixer if your going to use it in a studio or a place with sufficient light.
