i record pro musicians, this machine does just about everything my bands look for in a studio. the only drawback i see is there are no effects return which with reverb/effects especially on vocals-cannot be heard until mixdown unless you use an external reverb unit. i figured out a way around that slight drawback but this machine is top notch. abe's got it here in a hurry and at a great price. you won't go wrong with this 2488 neo unit.

The Neo sounds great and is very intuitive. I am by no means a pro, but even I was able to be up and running with it in minutes. As a home studio enthusiast, I am able to record everything from classical to new age to rock with no difficulty. The more time you spend tweaking it the better your results will be of course. I recommend the tutorial DVD as well.
