Welcome to a turntable that does 3 things with ease. It's a turntable. It's an IPOD dock for playing and recording. Plus, it connects to a computer, in addition to your stereo system. This easy to use and sleek looking TT even has a USB computer connection. The software that comes with it, helps locate titles of songs on-line. It helps to have a DSL or high speed connection for the above feature. I don't think you'll do better than the Numark TTi but you most certainly could do worse.
