It does what it says - rapid recharger. I like the fact that it comes with an auto power cable, and the fact that it will work in most places in the world. I was disappointed that the charger with the Nikon camera would only work in the US. I don't even use the Nikon charger anymore, just this one. The size is nice, not too heavy. If you travel, get this charger.
