After A LOT of research, I finally decided to invest in a Nikon D90...

I cannot stress enough how easy the D90 is to use for amateurs and professionals alike. While the camera has a slight learning curve in order to maximize controls, it's nothing a few days of experimenting and practicing can't overcome. Once comfortable, you'll see fantastic results in a wide variety of shooting conditions.

Definitely a top-notch camera body at a great price!

This camera is awesome and I love it. I took it to an airshow the week after I got it, and it performed amazingly. I was able to zoom in close and get crisp sharp images with the nikkor 70-300mm VR lens. It has almost all the same features as professional body, just slightly de-tuned, or only adjustable through the menu rather than a button on the body. This camera is great for people with a slightly greater knowledge and passion of photography than just shooting your kids playing at the beach; people that are starting photography as a little more serious hobby.

The product was exactly as promised and shipped quickly. The camera is excellent. It compares well to the Nikon D300 in image quality. I use it mainly for birds (egrets, pelicans, herons, eagles, etc). With a 18-55mm lens the camera is excellent for macro, portrait, etc photography. The low light image quality is exceptional.

I have had a Canon Powershot Rebel and a Nikon D40 and they don't even compare to the quality pictures that I have taken with the Nikon D90. The focus quality on sports pictures is incredible. The D90 also takes great videos so you will never need to purchase another camera.
