Comments about Canon PowerShot SD940 IS Digital Camera - Black:

This biggest disappointment was the four-way directional pad and center Func/Set button because it's a little difficult to push the desired button, leading to frequent mispresses and therefore you have to use your fingernail/thumbnail.
But overall it's a good pocketable camera that takes good pictures once you figure out what settings you need.

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD940 IS Digital Camera - Black:

My wife cannot set this camera down. The camera has a great wide-angle lens that allows for easier than normal indoor pictures (No more "everyone scrunch" or trying to back up all the way to wall to make everyone fit. Taking a picture of yourself with friends is very easy because of this feature(at arms reach you can fit 3 to 4 people). Great image quality. Battery pack is excellent. 250+ pics on one charge when using the flash on the majority of pics. Way better than traditional batteries. Takes awhile to get used to the wide angle when using the camera outdoors, it seems like you are a long way from your subject. Cool features make this camera stick out from the rest. Nice to have a camera take a picture in two seconds from turning on.

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD940 IS Digital Camera - Black:

I'm a pro photographer and brought this camera for my wife. I was leaning towards the s90 but she wanted a small camera. I'm really impressed with the image quality from such a small censor. Great small camera for casual use. It has some cons like limited zoom and slightly long shutter lags but these are expected in a cute little camera like this one.

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD940 IS Digital Camera - Black:

Shutter broke only two weeks into slight use. When turned on the shutter does not open all the way and when turned off it does not close. Very dissapointing as i am faithful to canon, but am now considering switching over to a different brand...

Comments about Canon PowerShot SD940 IS Digital Camera - Black:

First of all, it has really excellent looking.
I think the most important thing that a portable camera is required is small size and nice looking that makes me have it every outdoor activities.
SD940-IS is perfect in that point.
Second, a sensor which recognizes a person automatically is really great. Even I'm not pro, every picture I've taken is really awesome.
I love this camera. I bet you won't regret to choose this.
