This camera is very easy to use, has very intuitive menu (as opposed to Canon) and vider function set than Canon powershot1200 for example. It best works with portrait or landscape shots. Night scene, or shots taken in low light (even with indoor settings) - not so great. I would even say that some night shots are not worth taking. Also, make sure you choose the right focus. Overally, for the price it is a decent investment, however, you might want to consider to put in another [$] and get yourself a product that works across all the fronts.

the camera is decent, good for fun or family pictures, nothing that is extremely important. has problems syncing with the latest macs, iphoto. ok price. would not purchase again.

This is one of the best Cameras I have ever bought. I had a sony D series but the comfortablitiy which I have wit ikon is fantastic...Simply This is one of the best cameras I have ever bought!!!!

I am a general user and this camera does the job. Its really small and sleek. Images hav great clarity, the image stabilizer feature is fab..got 4gb free memory stick which was awesome...I am satisfied with this product..

I am very much depressed by this camera..although i have heard a lot about this but I totally unsatisfied with this..
The day I have clicked the first photo with this camera I was not happy..but again I try with other available setting like flash on/ off,but never get the satisfaction...might be I have some great expectation from this camera...
In nut shell I will not recommend this to any of my friend.

I picked this up so that I can just throw it in a backpack or even a jacket pocket to take pictures of places I go on my motorcycle. It's small enough to not get in the way and has produced decent pictures. My only gripe is the lag between shots in continuous mode, but I knew about that before I bought it...so I can't complain too much.

I got this as a stop gap measure before I buy myself an SLR camera. For the price, this camera has turned out to be good.

A few things that I suggest:
1) Max image size of 3648 has a lot of noise. Try changing to 2592.
2) Enable distortion control.
3) Change color options to vivid. The difference is great!

I am yet to try recording something with this camera, but from a photo perspective this camera has been good. Good photo quality (including night mode), easy to understand and handle controls are the pros of this camera.

One thing I noticed though - in some modes, there is some humming noise coming from within the camera. Not sure if that is good or bad. Plus, battery life could have been a bit better.

I went for it because it was 5xOptical zoom which is not available with other brands but was disapointed by picture quality. I have to keep it at 10MP to get a comparable picture. Canon gives excellent quality even at 5MP. I tried all other settings too.

Good camera. Wanted something small that would take good pictures, works great for that. Only had 1 problem so far, the shortcut macro button dose'nt work, not worth sending it back for such a small problem but I'm sure they would repair it if I did.
