Was purchased as a gift; looking for a light-weight; largest screen for easiest composition/viewing; red-eye reduction; less vibration. A camera that anyone at the party could use...grandma or kids. It's a great everyday camera; for capturing family dinners or baseball games. Have only downloaded prints once...to check quality...and Pixel quality looks good. This camera was not created for professional photographers, but the S610 is perfect for leaving out on the table to get those unexpected cute shots; with above-average results received from other compact cameras on the market. I've recommended it to several friends looking for a camera to record their fun snapshot moments.
