I have owned a S550 since last June. I love its ease of use, the fact that it can do 16:9 pictures, and its video (.avi) capability. It's so good -- I bought another one for my mother for Christmas. She has a severe visual problem, and the large screen worked out for her.

She can use it easily, and most of all, it's easy for her to get the pictures down to her computer for placing on CD. I would recommend this camera to anyone.

I am a newbie and interested in Macro Photography. I like this camera for 2 reasons:
1. The Price: If you are getting a 10 MP camera for 136 with 4 gig Sd card, what else you'll ever need for a decent camera.
2. Compact and yet Stylish: Good looking model giving high quality pictures...Really like it. This is my second cam which i bought for my sister
