I am not able to take pictures rapidly because it takes a long time to register to memory. I am taking pictures size 3mb.

In daylight, color rendition is great, but in low light using flash, tends to have a pinkish look to faces, etc. Despite it's 12mp resolution, when I magnify the image, it seems grainier/rougher than my 6mp photos from my Nikon D50 SLR. I think there's more to quality photos than just mere resolution specs. Shutter lag is acceptable but can't beat my SLR which has virtually no lag at all. I like using it for quick & dirty photos as it's more convenient than taking out my SLR to shoot stuff, especially since it's so very compact. Battery life is great with the rechargeable pack (compared to the 2 Nikon L18 I have which eats AA batteries, even NiMH rechargeables!)
