Great camera! You will need to take time to shoot and learn the basics. It's a big step from point n shoot. But if you want to setup a camera for how you shoot, this model gives you the options.
The 18-200 is an ok kit lens. It has its weak points but for a general travel lens it's great. The 70-300 was/is a longer zoom I could afford. I'll save my pennies so I can replace it with a faster lens.
