This is my second D90 - wanting to limit my lens swapping while out in the field. The 18-200mm w/VR offers a tremendous range of shooting. Today I carry one w/the 18-200mm and the other usually has the 12-24mm, 80-400mm VR or the 60mm macro. [...]you just can't go wrong with the D90 & 18-200mmVR lens.

...because i don't know what other expression to use. This is my first dslr and i made sure that i chose the right one... and i did. this dslr is fast, accurate, clear, not heavy (but not light) and feature packed. i love the video mode which is actually really nice. the screen is big and beautiful. the battery life is awesome. and i love my lens especially. i was contemplating which lens to get and once i saw the kit with the 18-200mm, i knew right away.

Moved from a D70 w/18-70mm lens - WOW - larger LCD easier to work with. Prefer the SDHC in lieu of CFs - especially since mfgs are coming out with the faster units. Appreciate the multi shot/one release feature along with videos. The 18-200mm (#2192)lens makes lens changing alot less. Less to carry with me. Preping to obtain a second unit. My other Nikon accessories work fine with unit. ALL PROs - NO CONs

Comments about Nikon D90 DX Format Digital SLR Camera w/ AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II Lens:

Great product, well worth the money. I was struggle between D300 and D90, but besides the shutter speed and 51 point AF system, D90 pretty much does the same thing with smaller body, which matters after long use or on the trip.

Highly recommended!!

Love the how it feels in my hands. The menu and key buttons are at your fingertips. My daughter, who only uses point and shoot cameras, came by to see it and was able to take some great pictures. Her first time using a SLR camera. She could navigate trough the menus like she was familiar with the camera.

Comments about Nikon D90 DX Format Digital SLR Camera w/ AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II Lens:

The D90 is an excellent camera, easy to use and very practical, gives great avenues for creative energy and is limited only by the users knowledge of the product. Overall very satisfied with the product and would highly recommend the camera.

I bought the camera 2 weeks back and just returned from a trip to Florida and the pictures i took are very vivid, sharp and it didnt take me much time to get accustomed to the controls and features. The camera was very intuitive and the firmware is very easy to navigate and control.

Overall worth every cent I spent

After reading lots of reviews I decided upon the D90 with all it's excellent reviews. I am not disappointed. The feel and quality of the camera is top-notch. The pictures look great. I am new to DSLR's and the D90 has over 40 options making the learning curve steep. Fortunately, it sports a great auto mode but I intend to learn and use as many of the options as possible. There is plenty of room to grow into this camera.[...]

Comments about Nikon D90 DX Format Digital SLR Camera w/ AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II Lens:

I bought this camera as my move to hi-end, would have gotten a 300S but out of the price range. I have been a serious hobiest since the 70s. I am using it for work in Afghanistan and the lense is great for close in or to reach out and touch someone or something. I will be going to a wedding in Columbia and will be taking some of the wedding pitures. I have been taking pics of salsa dancers that I socialize with and they have really appreciated the movies as well as the action shots I am able to get. If I win I will probably get another lense. Everyone is impressed. If there is a shortcoming it is taking action pictures in low light with the flash but that may come with time in learning how to adjust/compensate the camera. [...]
