Great camera. Reason we bought this over the Olympus is that my sister has the Olympus. She often complains about the shutter lag...press the button and wait a second or two for the camera to take a picture. We have a 4 year old and shutter lag would leave us with shots of the background with only my son's foot in the pic as he dashed away. This camera has the least lag of all similar cameras. Works great. Sister wishes she bought this camera instead.

I have had many cameras over the last 30 years and this camera is buy far the best one I have had. Yes I have had most all of the other one in this class and this one out preforms the others.
This is such a good camera we own two of them.

Took camera to Australia, threw it in a backpack. Was great in heat, cold, wet situations, underwater. It took amazing photos with great color reproduction. Easy to use even for my kids, with many settings.

Even using the most advanced automatic functions, this camera is able to produce fuzzy images. After a shooting session, 3-4 images out of ten I pretended to have, appeared out of focus..The problem is that sometimes, it was not evident until I saw the pictures in a bigger screen (computer).. disappointing..
Video shooting is very nice and simple, but format selection is key factor if you do not want to spent additional time on editing work before store or distribute ready to see them to others.
Size of the camera would challenge you to find a case; take into account to use the silicone cover when you go shopping for it.
