I have to confess to being a Luddite. This was my first digital camera and I am in love with it. No more wasted money developing bad photos, no more squinting through a view finder. This camera is awesome! I opened the box and I was able to use it five minutes after I opened it. The camera has great features such as an automatic setting for aquariums which is great for exhibits behind glass in museums also. I have dropped the camera several times and it still works. Plus it can take videos and zoom in to 16x the closeness all with the turn of a knob. However, the memory card that comes with the camera only stores 11 pictures, so you do need to upgrade to a larger memory card. (Which Abe's of Maine recommended to me, thanks Abe's.) You also should invest in rechargeable batteries. After just two days of using the camera, I had exhausted the batteries that came with the camera.

A 10.0 megapixel camera with a viewfinder at this low price is extraordinary. Easy to set up and use right out of the box. Solid construction and small size make this a perfect camera for every day use. Received camera within 3 days of ordering-phenomenal!

First digital camera I have owned. I bought upgraded package with case, charger and upgraded 4gb high speed memory card (recomended- holds 1484 pictures and speeds up picture taking). Love the slide show function for viewing pics. Very easy instruction on how to operate. You cant go wrong with this camera.

Cheap, simple, and easy to use to take pictures. Exactly what you want in an inexpensive point and shoot camera. Low light performance is pretty weak, but that is very much expensive for the cost.

This Camera is great in look as well as functioning. The LED is Bright and Good view on laptop. Always buy class 6 memory card with this. Getting a package bundle is always good and saves money and provide comfort.

bought the camera in november and is giving very good results..excellent pictures in daytime. Only thing that i havnt figured out yet is that at night it uses high intensity flash, which results in poor picture, red eye, whiteness.

Camera takes wonderful pictures and is compact enough to fit in my shirt pocket. Movies are very high resolution. The only length limits are the limits of your storage card. I have an XP-64 and Windows 2000 systems so the software CD did not install [...] I like the camera and was able to use my Corel photo album software to get the photos.

This is my second Camera. I have a Nikon D40 for other uses. I bought this for its portablity. I truly feel Canon can do a better job when shooting in Auto Mode. But I am impressed by the overrides the camera has and if you know what you are doing with this camera you can get a great shot. I feel that the flash is a bit underpowered.

I got this product a month back and started using form day one. The picture quality is great and easy to handle. The only glitch in this as it runs with alkaline batteries instead of lithium. Otherwise this product is worth it and you can def look forward to buy it.

The product has 4x zoom, which is not that great, as we usually require a little more while taking some outdoor pictures. The only other shortcoming is the excess amount of space each picture occupies coming up to 4mb, which is compartively even higher than what an SLR picture file occupies. Otherwise, a great camera for regular simple usage.

I like the A series of camera by Canon. I particularly like their Vivid color mode (in the scene section). A powerful flash makes sure night photographs are great. Canon has improved their camera in last few year and this one is lighter as compared to earlier generation A series. The only problem I have with this camera is their battery compartment which sometimes is not easy to open or close.

The auto features are great, but if you want to do it your own way, you can.
I'm still learning about what I can do with this camera and still have not explored it all.
I am particularly pleased with the image stabilization features and am very glad of the ability to use ordinary AA batteries.
