This is a great, easy to use camera that takes good pictures. the controls and menus are intuitive, for the most part, so one can concentrate on the photos, not on how to take them. I was so happy with it after struggling with a Casio Exilim for a couple years, that I bought my wife one.

Purchased for my 10 year old daughter. This is an excellent entry-level camera that has many features of some higher-end cameras, but is very easy to use. She will like the small compact size. 12.1 megapixels is probably overkill for her every day use, but takes very good quality photos. Best to invest in a battery charger and NiMH batteries or lithiums especially if used outdoors in the cold. Regular alkaline batteries give relatively short battery life. Recommend purchasing at least a 2 GB or 4 GB SD card and camera case too. Overall, a great camera for a fair price.

I've purchased the camera as a gift.
I tested it, and it's a compact camera that works perfect.
I specially appreciate having a viewfinder, because the LCD display alone is not good under the sun!!!
