We've been really bad about taking pictures of our 4 year old son. Both my husband and I are techno-phobs but htis camera is so simple to use. I love it. Did tons of research before buying. This came up as the best camera for a novice and Abe's came up with the best price (no kidding, every search, Abe's of Maine always had the lowest price). We now have lots of pics of our son and we'll keep taking them because this is such an easy handy little camera. [...]

This camera is compact and lightweight. It turns on as well as focuses quickly. It is easy to complete the initial set up/settings. The controls are easy to operate and directions on the screen easy to follow, however if you have bigger fingers the controls could get a little frustrating. It would be good if the camera would save pictures to the flash card more quickly. I would definitely recommend this camera to others to buy - it has the typical Canon quality and ease of use.
