Great little camera for its size. Learning how to focus by pushing plunger down half way while taking a picture takes a little practice.

Backup for my D80. Carry it with me on my Honda Sabre to take photos. Terrific photos. Flash is almost useless but takes pretty good low light photos. Image stabilization is pretty good.

This camera is perfect for everyday photos. The blue color is gorgeous and I loved that it came with a wrist strap. Great quality photos and high MP. Zoom is average. The settings are easy to navigate and use. I LOVE IT!

As someone who loves to take casual photos for travel and gatherings, this camera is fantastic. The images are clear, on 'auto' is adjusts almost perfectly to whatever lighting/object/situation I need. For the price, I am thrilled, and much happier with the 1200 than I ever was with the 1000.

Bought this camera for my 9 yo daughter. Her older sister has the 1100. I have the SD 870 that I use when we travel as a family. I also use it at work along with my old Nikon D100. They all take decent pictures and videos. They are easy to use. Like any point and shoot, they are not great for action shots.

I use the camera often and have loved almost every picture that I've taken! It does take a couple extra seconds to adjust, and isn't perfect for action shots. However, it's a wonderful camera for fun family photos and is a great deal!

I think the camera works great. i used it while to went to vacation recently. The only thing which i don't like about is - the photos differ in quality which depends upon the way you press the click button . sounds strange huh!! There is a trick that when you press the button halfway and pause , after that click it fully, then you get a clear picture and if you only click it without any pause , you can see the difference in quality. That's not good , i cannot teach evreybody how to click pictures..otherwise good camera .
