Nice small camera with lots of features and capabilities. Versatile enough for me as a frequent casual user interested in a compact camera with high megapixels, large zoom, and good resolution. It looks good but the smooth classy finish also makes it easy to drop.

We got this camera as a Christmas gift right before we went on a vacation to the Northeast during late December. If you paid any attention to the news during the latter part of December, you might recall a storm called "Blizzard 2009" that completely blanketed the Northeast with record snowfall. Well we happened to be up there at that time, and since we had never been to the Northeast before, we were taking pictures like crazy. Let me tell you that this camera not only took AMAZING photos of all the old buildings and beautiful scenery, but it was also exposed to temperatures in the single digits. It never once faltered, or failed to work. Now I would not recommend exposing your purchase to these types of conditions, but just know that Fujifilm has built a very durable camera that will last through thick and thin, all the while producing the highest quality photos you can imagine. I whole heartedly believe that you will not be disappointed with this purchase. Well worth the $$$ that was spent on it.

While I've described myself as a casual photographer I border on 'enthusiast' - let me first say that I've only had the camera a short time but I'm quickly familiarizing myself with its many features and so far I haven't a bad thing to say about it. The rapid fire is great for action shots and the camera has manual adjustment capabilities (taking me back to my old real film SLR days) I'm pleased with the zoom as well, i think this is the first pocket sized camera with a 10x optical. I mentioned the short battery life as a "con"[...]Note also that this camera was reviewed on Steve's Digicam website as the top pick for '09 in its price range and class.

My first new camera since the Finepix F20. Definitely worth the upgrade. Wouldn't consider anything else, except maybe the F200.

Recently purchased from Abe's for a trip to Las Vegas. Took excellent photos and great video of the Bellagio Fountains and Mirage Volcano. Love this Camera.
