I really enjoy the Fuji Finepix S2000 HD camera. I mostly use it for taking pictures of my children and there sporting activities. I am a new user and had to read the instruction booklet and all my questions were answered. The booklet was easy to read and understand, It has taken me awhile to learn how to use the camera in different situations, but I am getting much better and have taken some wonderful pictures. If you are more inclined to just point and shoot this is not the camera for you. If you are moving up from a point and shoot to a more advanced camera but not a professional then you will like this Fuji very much. I recommend it. Yes I have had to take 4 or 5 shots to find the best setting but I am leaning and getting a better feel for the camera every day. It is my new favorite accesory!

I had a friend that had this product and that is mostly why I bought it. It was really easy to use. You just need time to play around with it. The price was the lowest I found for a brand new one. I like the zoom and the fact that pictures are nice and clear. I still need time to play around it more.

The camera overall is great with alot of bang for the buck,,, but the image stabilization needs help. Everything else is GREAT.

I bought this as a step up from typical point-n-cliks, but still portable. Waiting for new u4/3s to get cheap. I travel a lot, take a lot of 'real-estate' shots, also eBay/Craigslist shots, some landscapes. Have done one 'family portraits' shoot and one 'interior/exterior houses' shoot so far. Camera works fine except loud lens noise during videos, both zoom and autofocus/stabilizer noise. Not the best picture quality, but gud enuf. Menus slightly annoying, they all are. Lens stabilizer works fine. Digital stabilizer function just reduces resolution to up the iso- annoying because it doesn't tell you it's doing it- some low-light photos just come out low-rez. Got it for a hundred-fifty bucks less than the similar Canon, so I won't be too p'ed when I drop it or it dies. They're all disposable now anyway. Good value in my opinion.

The Fuji FinePix S2000HD is, flat out, a fantastic camera! I am thoroughly pleased with it's ease of use and quality pictures! The HD video it takes is unbelievably good, even in low light conditions! What a great camera for any level photographer! The super macro features make this a must have, inexpensive, SLR style camera for anyone looking for this feature alone! Awesome!

I wanted to upgrade to a better camera and was told by a friend who had used this camera that it was easy to use and took great pictures. I got it two days before Christmas and she was right it was easy to use and with a little bit of studying the manual I have already learned most of the features. I got my pictures back yesterday and they turned out great! Highly recommend for the price!

Very quality camera. Have not had long enough to give true review, but my bother has one and is very happy with the quality.

Pictures are outstanding. Hope focus holds out. Other cameras in past have lost focus.

I bought this for my 16yr old son for Christmas. He loves it. You do need to practice using it to figure out how everything works. He's into skateboarding and takes lot's of action photos. This camera works great!

I have to admit I wasn't expecting this much camera for the little money Abe's was asking but when I got it in my hands the feel was that of the six hundred and up cameras I looked at... then I read through the manual and started taking pictures... Wow I placed the setting on Auto at 1st and I took some great pics on that setting but then I wanted to see what this camera could really do so I placed the setting on SP. This setting allows you to set the camera to take pictures with over a dozen different modes to choose from, like PARTY, LANDSCAPE and so on... WOW This camera rocks once you get it fine tuned to its surroundings... So anyways then I couldn't wait to try the fast 33-pics in a row feature and my dog helped me out by run after a stick I throw... She started running and I pointed it at her and pushed down on the shutter button and kept the camera moving as she ran and the camera kept right up with us after the camera stopped taking pictures and stored them onto the SD card I pulled it out of the camera and pushed into my computers card reader and there they where... 33 clear crisp pictures of just about every step my dog took! I didn't delete any of them they were all perfect. I can't wait to take some HD pictures and maybe a HD video or two and plug the camera into my HDTV... I know that I am going to be taking alot of great shots with this camera for years and years to come. Bottom line for me I would have to say if you are a PRO you wouldn't like this camera. If you are a Semi-Pro you probably own a Camera in this class already but for everyone else in the world I say... Go for it ...It is well worth the money you can't go wrong.
I do have one Con: I wish I would have bought it sooner so I would have had it for this Christmas's picture taking.

I have extremely enjoy this camera. This is my first really nice camera. I bought it to go on my cruise. I was a little hesitant because I recieved the camera about a day before I left on my trip. This left me too learn this as I go. This camera is easy to learn and use. I am continuely learning how to use and utilize this camera to its full ability

I bought this camera for my wife. When I recieved it I took it for a test drive. I'm a Sony Guy so I didn't expect much. Make a long story short. I bought my wife a different camera and kept this one for myself. The good folks at Abes advise me to upgrade the stick for faster shots. Great camera well worth the price. Takes double A batteries so I don't have to remember to charge them.

Our teenaged daughter can't get past it's old fashioned look to realize that we got a new camera. We haven't had to share it and she is getting a new Fugi for Christmas that fits her "fashion" sauvy and tech needs.

I use this camera for everything! From prescious moments with my baby or school plays with my daughter, to great desert sunsets, this camera works great. The image stablization does it's job well and the focus is very fast and quiet. The high speed photo option with slideshow replay is a really cool and useful feature. With the high speed feature I have been able to capture my baby's fleeting smiles. The only down fall to this camera is the weight, but all the options and versatility definitely out weigh the heft!

I took pictures of my new grand daughters and I could shoot 300+ pictures on a battery charge. My old camera could only shoot 45 pictures on a charge. I was always missing out because of dead batteries, those days are over. Also the pictures that I have taken have been very good. Out of 300 pictures I only had to delete 20, so I am very happy

I took this camera on vacation at the beach. I love the wide angle lens; however, I dislike the size and feel it would be difficult to travel with. I like to point and shoot when travelling which allows me to take non-posed pictures. This camera has a lot of capability but the size doesn't allow a lot of point and shot opportunities. I do like the stabilization feature too.

Am still learning how to use the camera. My daughter is thrilled that you can take vertical pictures without turning the camera. There are a lot of features that I have to take time to sit down and learn. I confess that I am more a point and shoot person, but it doesn't seem to be overly complicated, and am looking forward to learning more.

This is my third Fuji camera. I have been pleased with each one, and I keep upping the mega-pixel numbers on subsequent and/or newer models. This last, 10 mega-pixel unit, is the best of all, and reflects what I have always liked about the Fujis: ease of operation, intuitive controls, light weight, good ergonomics for my large hands, good quality pix, fine "extras (e.g., tremendous telefoto/zoom capability)," large, bright LCD (as well as alternate viewfinder). This one now features facial recognition technology, with a quite sophisticated focus mechanism that allows excellent accuracy in a complex foto. I have always recommended that people look at Fuji when shopping for a good camera that won't break your wallet.
