This camera has features and scenes for every situation. However some are confusing to find and use. The picture quality isn't very good either. This camera is only avrage for its kind and doesn't stand out.

THIS LITTLE GEM REALLY PACKS 'EM IN. I HAVE HEARD HOW LOUSY PICTURES THIS CAMERA TAKES....BUT ALL YA GOTTA DO IS RESET THE QUALITY. I LOVE THIS CAMERA BECAUSE OF SIZE. WHO WANTS TO LUG AROUND A CAMERA ANYMORE? THIS LITTLE GUY IS SMALLER THAN A PACK OF CIGARETTES (& WHO EVEN SMOKES ANYMORE?). IT'S SMALL,BUT DON'T DROP IT! IT'S HISTORY IF YA DO! THIS IS MY SECOND S220....TRIED THE COOLPIX W/TOUCH SCREEN. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE!!! UNLESS YA GOT A LOT OF TIME TO SCREW AROUND, AND A LOT OF PATIENCE. TOUCH SCREENS HAVE A SLOW AND USUALLY INCORRECT RESPONSE. THE BODY ON THOSE ARE A BIT LARGER TOO. AS I SAID ......THIS LITTLE CAMERA IS A GEM, AND NOT MUCH BIGGER!! ONLY PROBLEM IS, AS USUAL .....IT'S BEEN DISCONTINUED. SO,GO GET 'EM!!!

This was a replacement Nikon for Daughter - the Nikon Cool Pix is more Pixels and gives better pictures.

My last camera was a good, but old analog one. I am amazed and delighted by what my new digital camera can do. I've only had it for a few weeks, but can already tell how much fun I'm going to have with it.

A graduation gift for grandson. He began using it the night before graduation and loved it. B&H suggested adding 4 Gb Memory Card and it was great idea. Pictures are wonderful, clear, and sharp. A really outstanding, simple point & shoot with programable features for those that want to do more.

Oh! It looks beautiful only in a showcase.

Makes lot of noise and pictures taken at max resolution are not at all appealing. Feels like you have taken a snap with 6 or 8 Megapixel camera.

When the lens adjust automatically, it makes lot of noise as if something is jammed inside. May be it was faulty. Deeply disappointed by this Nikon S220.

Worth buying this product in this range, 10MP gives a good quality, i got 4GB card too on abesofmaine so saved another $ 14, happy with the performance too

I found that the actual pictures are fine, but the previews on the LCD are terrible. There is often gross distortion in the colors of the LCD preview. There is something wrong with the processing algorithms inside this camera.
