Very compact and light camera that fits nicely in your pocket. Overall good picture quality. Just hope that the lenses won't get stuck. I bought this camera to replace a similar camera that Nikon refused to fix under their warranty.

Bought this for my 7-year-old granddaughter and she has no trouble using it. Very kid friendly and takes really sharp pictures. It is very light weight and she wears it in a little bag on her belt loop.

We returned it for the S560 which is a little bigger, but got much better reviews.
No problems with the S560 so far!!

this is a very efficient camera. its the second one i owned because i droped the first one off a two story building. and it finally broke. my fault. and i was only 1 day after my 1 year waranty=(

I bought this camera for my 12 year old daughter, who is an avid kid photographer and chipped in all she had saved up. I got tired of seeing my kids buying [$] cameras from Walmart that were so poor quality we would end up throwing them away. I'm a semi-pro, shoot with a Nikon D300 with a D90 as backup, and trust Nikon (and Canon) for top quality. This little camera is really tiny and has quite good resolution and optics. Although expensive (especially for kid use), I am happy with the value. Needless to say, my daughter is absolutely in love with it.
