I bought this camera because it was small and has great features, and it hasn't disappointed. I sold an Olympus, that was identical for zoom and Mega Pixels, it didn't give good quality, but this Nikon Coolpix S630 is AWESOME. I take pictures indoor for Basketball games and then outside for Soccer and it works fabulous. I love this camera.

Slight contridiction with the battery. It lasts a long time when taking pictures, but will run short when downloading to the PC if you don't hurry. The zoom is unbelieveably sharp for a compact camera and the stabalizer is a blessing since it is so lightweight. Good display for review. It can do a lot of technical shooting, so read up on the basics to get familiar with it. Super little package for the price and a smart travel camera. We take it with us everywhere we go, fits easily in you pocket. I would recommend an additional battery so not to miss any of the action.

THE BEST THING IS THE QUALITY FOR SUCH A COMPACT CAMERA, SLR QUALITY IN A HAND HELD POINT SHOOT CAMERA.

Compact, easy to use, fast, good pictures, but not what I expected for a twelve mega camera. Has solid construction and ergonomic controls. Has an excellent lens, but the zoom takes practice to master. Wide range of autosettings. An excellent menu system. Get a larger memory and battery for long trips.
