I love photography and have gone into digital and enjoy the many things it brings. Previously I used an Olympus Super-Zoom 35mm and loved it, so the choice for the SP-590UZ was an easy one, and really enjoy it, it does so very much and is a lot of fun with creativity to boot. Without lugging so much around, like before.

Great Best Camera I have in years.

still new with the camera but so far picture images, even at 26X zoom are very good. I probably over reseached the purchase and it was between this and the Nikon P90. There are a lot of custom controls that will take a while to fully understand

Fantastic camera. Serveral shooting modes for all kinds of conditions. Lots of bells and whistles! From simple "auto" mode for "point and shoot" to shooting in complicated lighting conditions, this camera can handle it.At highest optical (26x) zoom, it is necessary to use a brace/tripod or you will get picture blur.[...]

a grat deal compared to the nikon D90 it doesn't have all of the software but who needs it you could always edit it on the computer $400 vs.$1000
also in medium low light the flash isnt needed shutter slows a bit and the light is brought up automaticaly
