Comments about PANASONIC DMC-FX35 10.1MP Digital Camera - Silver:

This is a perfect performing and realistically priced (from Abe's of Maine, of course) all around digital camera with an excellent high res lens that delivers good color pictures that are well exposed to anyone no matter what their skill level. It pays to study the well written owners manual to explore and discover all of the camera's characteristics and performance features. The 25mm wide angle lens really sets it apart from other cameras without as much coverage.Panasonic also provides good live telephone support if needed. Have an extra memory card around because you will have it filled quicker than you think with photos you will want to keep.

Comments about PANASONIC DMC-FX35 10.1MP Digital Camera - Silver:

Great camera. I've taken a lot of amazing photos on this camera. Would like a mode with manual controls (shutter speed, iso, f/stop, etc). For the price, however, no complaints.

Great pocket sized camera. Takes great pictures out of the box. Many enhanced options just a few button pushes away. All of the options may be daunting for a new user but you do not need them to take a great picture.

Comments about PANASONIC DMC-FX35 10.1MP Digital Camera - Silver:

This is a pocketable camera that takes great pictures in most situations. I like the wide angle lens, which provides me greater flexibility in composing scene photos.
The intelligent automatic mode actually works quite well and 99% of the times guesses correctly which scene mode I should be using.
A bit disappointed with the battery life. I have to recharge before reaching 200 pictures. So, do use the energy saving functions (turns off the screen after a certain period of time and/or turns off the camera).

Comments about PANASONIC DMC-FX35 10.1MP Digital Camera - Silver:

I've wanted to buy this camera since last year and now finally got it. I like how wide the lense is, since most other simple digital cameras are 35mm and this one's 25mm. It feels solid when holding it, and is very easy to use for beginners and casual photographers. I have only owned one digital camera before, so cannot comment much on the technology. However, it is light enough to carry around and the battery life is long. It would be perfect if they had a pink version, but the silver one was nice, too.

Comments about PANASONIC DMC-FX35 10.1MP Digital Camera - Silver:

Not only is this one of the best compact cameras, it is one of the best cameras for it's price! I swear by the lumix series of panasonic cameras. Not only is the picture quality great, but it takes some of the best videos i've seen on any camera. I have had multiple people surprised to find out the video i had just showed them was take on a digital camera, let alone such a small camera. The only downfall is that if you want to take night pics you should have a tripod, but i guess that's with most cameras. I'm sure there are other cameras just as good out there, but i don't buy anything else! It's easy to use and produces great quality pictures whether your a beginner or a professional.

Comments about PANASONIC DMC-FX35 10.1MP Digital Camera - Silver:

Great camera at capturing action shots (burst mode & little delay when turning it off/on) & taking high quality videos with sound, which were the main reasons I picked Panasonic over Cannon and other brands. In addition it is extremely light weight and compact so it will travel with me on all my outdoor trips! Only wish it had a bit more zoom ability (though I could get the FX37 with 5x, but the cost for the gain isn't worth it). Wish it could zoom in & out while recording videos. Also, wish the lens had a larger aperture throughout the zoom range & thus better at taking pics in low light. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!

Camera used for mountain scenery and close up of flowers. Used only a few times so far. Very please with results. Quite easy to use. Like the size of the lcd screen. Experimented with macro mode and achieved good results. One of the main features why i choose this camera was the 25mm wide-angle for scenery shots.

Comments about PANASONIC DMC-FX35 10.1MP Digital Camera - Silver:

It does what we need it to do, and the price was right. One minor drawback: It doesn't take pictures quite as quickly as we'd like or in quite as rapid as succession. But the quality is great. It's quite small, and we've enjoyed it so far. The wide angle lens is a useful feature.

The FX-35 is a little jewel. All the buttons and switches work with precision. There's also a special place for your thumb when holding the camera. It easily fits in your shirt pocket so when a photo opportunity appears, you have it right there with you. The stabilizer works great. I've taken sharp pictures at 1/8th of a second. All taken in IA. mode. I've only had the FX-35 for a week so I'm still exploring it's potential. Thanks Abe's.

No company produce a camera with this wide angle lens with this price. Excellent for group shot indoor and outdoor. I had couple Dslrs before I bought this little camera that I could carry with me at all time. The price is good and is uder $250 and all functions work as it suppose to be.
