Everything I was looking for is in this camera. I was most impressed that it is still small enough to fit comfortably in my front pocket but still packs a powerful zoom. Image quality is excellent. Only problem I have had is the flash sometimes lags behind the shutter, making it useless. On one occasion it occurred continuously for four or five shots (never could get the shot). Other than that annoyance, it is a wonderful camera.

This camera is almost as small as my old 6 Megapixel Casio with only 3x Zoom and takes much sharper, less grainy photos. It even fits in the snug old neoprene case. I have been looking for a high quality point and shoot for work and family pictures for about 3 years. This camera finally provides the small size, quality, zoom and other features I have been waiting for. The only issues I have had is lack of a fill or adjustable flash, the rotary mode switch on top can be accidentally moved and I sometimes try to press it to take a picture. It would also be nice to have a slip resistant finish where you grip it.

Too much red eye, even though red eye reduction setting was used. Dial to set mode moves too easily, so there is a constant reminder the dial is not set properly, no view finder, zoom is very good, pictures are clear and sharp, camera has a good grasp for taking pictures.

This is not a point and shoot camera out of the box, it requires adjustments to obtain good photo quality and even then the photos don't justify the insanely high price.

Camera has lived up to expectations! Wonderful features like the powerful zoom, HD video, and photo burst. Only complaint has been having some difficulty in figuring out how to use some of the features, and the manual does not provide all of the details on what the camera can do. Otherwise, we're very pleased with our purchase!

I did a lot of research...I never considered a Panasonic for a camera, but this camera had more bells/whistles than others in its category. Fast set up and the built in photo options are easy to access quickly and the camera works great. I will be looking at Panasonic in a different light from now on.

I wanted to get a light weight camera with an optical zoom better than 8x that would have fast shutter speeds. I discovered the hi-burst mode and I love it for taking photos of my daughter's volleyball games. If the lighting is pretty good, I have been able to get some great action shots. The ball and arms may be a bit blurry, but if I pre-focus on the player, I can get some clear shots of a hit in the air. The one challenge with taking the hi-burst photos is that the camera does not have a view finder and the screan goes black when holding down the shutter button to take a burst of photos. So, I need to guess as to where the second or third hit of the ball will be when I point the camera for the hi-burst shots. Overall, I am pleased with the sports/action shots from this compact camera. The video is also excellent. I like that I can zoom in and out while taking video.
I've also taken some wonderful sunrise and fall color photos.
