Works great, cool features, easy to operate. Only negative is no viewfinder. Battery life would be better if the the screen did not have to run constantly while taking pics.

Rather than carrying my large SLR everywhere I go, I wanted a pocket-sized great camera. I've been pretty happy with Sony cameras, but this one is a little frustrating. There seems to be an issue with the auto focus - it works in about 1 out of every 7 shots. The lag time is quite noticeable, I wouldn't recommend this for quick action shots.

SOME PEOPLE SAYS THAT IT'S NO SO GOOD IN LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS, WELL I JUST CAN SAY THAT IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT AND HOW TO SET IT UP YOU WILL HAVE THE BEST PIC EVER SEEN EVEN IF DARK. I JUST CAME FROM TRAVELING AND PICTURES ARE AMAZING EITHER DAY OR NIGHT. ALSO VIDEO QUALITY IS VERY VERY GOOD, VERY EASE TO USE AS ALL SONY'S CYBER SHOOTS, VERY SLIM, VERY FUNNY! i like this product because of its sleek looks,faster response of touch screen and good still images but the pictures are not good for moving objects or if your hands shakes while taking pictures.

Weaknesses: No viewfinder! Fingerprints on screen...
Summary: The Sony Cybershot DSC-T300/B is a nice digital camera when you're on the go. Its compact design lets you put it in your pocket or small bag. This camera takes pretty good pictures, not as good as a DSLR, but one of the best point-in-shoot cameras. It has face detection and alot of other features. I don't like the fact that it doesn't have a view finder because when you're taking pictures on a sunny day its hard to see the screen. Another drawback to having a touch screen camera is that you get a ton of fingerprints on the screen. I'd have to say this is a nice camera though if you're looking for a compact design that looks rally nice.

It is an average digital camera.

DSC-T300 is a very average Sony digital camera. It has nothing really exceptionally good but a 3.5' LCD ( with poor touch sensibility ) in outlook.
