The Sony interface is one of the best out there. It is easy and intuitive. I take a lot of macro photos of arts and crafts projects, and the quality of the macro photos is amazing. The macro view is so sharp; I could see fingerprints in clay that weren't that noticeable with the naked eye!

This is a great cheap camera for taking family pictures during the holidays and family reunions. I'm not much of a camera buff so I'm not sure how the photo quality of this camera compares to other brands like Canon, but it looks good to me. Obviously not SLR quality however. The best thing about this camera though is its ease of use. Very easy and it took me really only about 1 hour to learn ALL of the functions. Great for the price and highly recommended.

Not a bad camera for the price: small and compact, short shutter lag, decent live screen and easy to use. However, the optics in this camera are not the best: noticable distortion towards the edges of the frame that are really frustrating when taking close up pictures. This is a good camara for the quick snapshot, but will disappoint when you are looking for more.

I wanted a pocket camera to have with me when I didn't want to carry a larger one. I am amazed at what good pictures it takes. Perfect color and sharp pictures. Video is fair. Zoom is fair. Closeups are excellent. No viewfinder but screen is adequate except in direct sunlight.
