Comments about Canon FA-DC67A Filter Adapter for SX30 IS:

Got this adapter so I could put a filter on my new Canon SX30IS. Filter adapter works great, can be slightly tricky getting it on until you get used to it. I was able to put a UV filter on it and at some point will probably pick up a polarizing filter as well

Comments about Canon FA-DC67A Filter Adapter for SX30 IS:

This really makes attaching and removing filters quick and easy and does not affect the performance of the light sensor being it adapts to the large 67mm filters. I'm considering purchasing another one to make quick change's to desired filters/polarizer for non stop shooting.

Comments about Canon FA-DC67A Filter Adapter for SX30 IS:

I like to protect my camera lenses with a quality UV filter. I bought the new Canon SX30 IS - great camera, but no threads to mount a filter. Canon recommends this filter, but it's sold out almost everywhere. [...] Easy to mount, fits my B and W UV filter perfectly. My new camera's lens is protected, so I'm content.

Comments about Canon FA-DC67A Filter Adapter for SX30 IS:

The Canon SX30is with it's wide angle to telephoto zoom, is a fantastic backup camera for taking quality picture's, when you don't want to use the larger and heavier DSLR with multiple lens.
Taking Macro Close-Up's, Landscapes and/or Portraits to Video all are easy and the camera has easy usable, settings from Auto to Manual and everything in between.
Utilizing the Canon FA-DC67A lens Filter Adapter, to attach filters is a real asset to any photographer's camera equipment bag. The 67mm Circular Polarizer and UV Haze Filter make taking a good picture even better, improving clarity and minimizing unwanted environmental flaws.
The lens Filter Adapter, could be made more sturdy, using aluminum rather than plastic. A threaded adapter connection to the lens would vastly improve the stability.
