No problems -- works great in the Nikon D3s - shooting nothing but raw counter reads about 803 images per card.

I NEED A LARGE CARD WHICH I CAN RELY ON, GO ON SPEND THE EXTRA IF YOU WANT BUT THIS CARD DOES THE JOB EVERY TIME FOR ME AND AT A GREAT PRICE.
Comments about SANDISK Extreme III CompactFlash 16GB Memory Card:
This card is fast enough for high burst shots on my Canon 7D and for recording HD 1080p 24fps footage. With an expresscard adapter, I can transfer files faster than with lower quality cards. This is a great middle of the road card for DSLR users.

I love the size of the 16G card! I used it to shoot an outdoor wedding and took hundreds of pictures in high quality RAW format on a 15 megapixel Canon 50D and didn't even need my back up card!

I knew this was an excellent item; ordering from Abe's of Maine is very easy.
Comments about SANDISK Extreme III CompactFlash 16GB Memory Card:
I own 6 Sandisk CF cards in various sizes, from a 2 gig Extreme IV though 2 16 Gig Extreme IIIs. I shoot weddings, and I would occasionally run out of space and have to pull out my laptop to copy some files off. Now I can shoot half the day on one card, and the other half on the other - fitting ~900 RAW files on each one. I never find myself wanting for more capacity or more write speed - everything's great with these cards.
I do have slight concerns about card corruption and losing too much data to one bad card, but I've been using Sandisk Extremes for years, and never had a single failure (knock on wood)
Comments about SANDISK Extreme III CompactFlash 16GB Memory Card:
The card could keep up but I don't shoot rapidly more than a few shots in a row so I don't know how it would be under heavy continual shooting. I always use the brand of card and in 7 years have never once had a problem with corruption. I trust them. It was nice to be able to shoot a whole wedding on just two cards. The first card took me all the way to the reception so no worries about running out of shots during an important moment. I think I get about 800 shots per card in RAW with my Nikon D3.

Comments about SANDISK Extreme III CompactFlash 16GB Memory Card:
Bought it for an international trip without access to a computer or harddrive. Needed the 16GB space so I would not have to offload my cards at all. Also bought it for my boyfriend's Canon 5D Mark II - the 16GB are great for the HD videos he shoots. We can go for a day and mix it up with videos, jpegs and raw files with very little worry about space. Also, the Sandisk rebate and discount from Abe's made it even sweeter of a deal.

Comments about SANDISK Extreme III CompactFlash 16GB Memory Card:
the card itself works and is great - I just wish my camera took the SD size card - since the compact flash size doesn't fit in my computer and needs a card reader (unless you hook up your camera directly and run down its battery) - which is no fault of the card - just something to consider when buying a camera
