The cost with the rebate make this a better buy over Lexar. With no rebate, it's not as attractive.

I have a couple of memory cards that are about half the speed and could only get a burst of about 4 or 5 pictures before having to wait for the chip to write. Now I can shoot 10 or more shots and still don't have to wait. If you need to take quite a few photos in succession (especially in raw) this is the chip for you. I got the deal (which just expired) from SanDisk which worked out to half price (about what I paid for my slower chips) so it made it worth while to buy 3 chips. For the pro or advanced amateur taking raw or rapid photos this is the chip for you even at full price!

For a casual user, very nice. Haven't swapped out the card since we have purchased and shooting in Fine JPEG. Have also done some video and the camera responds beautifully. Do your research for your camera and make sure you can take advantage of the speed offered by this card and you will be very happy with it.
