I have had 0 complaints about these cards. After I bought 1, Sandisk offered a rebate of up to $60 if I bought 3 at once, and I liked the first one so well that I went ahead and ordered 3 more. Great write speeds and exceptional dependability have been my experience with this card.

I use these in combination with 2GB cards for my Nikon D90 DSLR as hobbyist. I shoot RAW primarily, sometimes in burst mode. Completely reliable and plenty fast for my camera. When I bought these, they were offering a huge manufacturer's rebate as well. So the value is unbeatable. Even at full price, I would buy them though. Probably overkill for compact point and shoots, but essential for anyone else who ever shoots in burst mode.

I've always figured any SD card is the same as any other one. That all changed w/ the Extreme III card.

I knew that my DSLR was supposed to take unlimited JPGs in continuous mode, but I had only managed to get about 6 or so before the camera started slowing down. I figured this was a hardware glitch and kind of gave up. But when I saw a deal for these Extreme III cards I figured I'd give it one last try. What a difference it made! Now I really can let my camera take pictures at full speed and the card can actually keep up.

I've used this product line in condensing-humid, static-dry, and super cold conditions (-50F), have yet to see a failure. Checking logs on my computer I've never seen or experienced a read/write failure on the Extreme III SD cards. And the performance is excellent, 15 to 20mb/s for read and write. Snag these during a slick deal and you're good to go. Could be used with a small card reader to carry your programs and data with you for much faster performance than a USB flash drive.

great card, no complaints. the only thing to note is that this is an HC (High Capacity) SD card. newer camers such as my Canon Powershot S5 IS have no problem with this type of memory. but my old card reader was unable to read the card. i had to get a new card reader to read this card.

I use the card for Windows ReadyBoost in a 64-Bit Windows Vista Laptop (Gateway P-6860FX). It works perfectly.

As others have stated, be careful that your device is compatible with this new technology. I would have purchased two of these 4 GB cards except that I learned ahead of time that it was not compatible with my Canon A530 Powershot camera.

Great pricing with the SanDisk rebate. They are practically giving these things away.

Only caution is rebate (sandisk visa card) which has very bad reviews at sandisk rebate center website customer forum. Many eligible customers have received less amount, no rebate or non-working visa card. My rebate status is showing 10 $ rebate instead of 30 $. So let's cross the finger. Overall, card is one of the top high-performace card.

I had just purchased a new Canon A1000 camera,which uses the SD card, when I found out that Abe's of Maine in conjunction with SanDisk was having a FANTASTIC DEAL on the Extreme III memory card. I've used SanDisk memory cards in the past for both cameras and cell phones, they have always been of the highest quality. I had a PNY SD card that cost me $30 or so and had a million problems with the thing. I thought my new Sandisk had something wrong with it when I could delete pictures or add pictures to it from my computer after using it in the camera... heh.. nothing wrong with the Sandisk, just the PNY!! Come to find out, cards are SUPPOSED to let you do that!

Bought as a card for my Nikon P-3, found that the camera only can recognize cards up to 2 Gigs. Put the card in a USB thumb/flash drive and used it to sneaker net Windows 7 onto a non-networked computer. Make sure your device can handle the larger capacity, I did not know to check.. I assume that this will be a lay-away until I get a next generation camera.
