I purchased 3 of these from Abes since these came with an awesome rebate from Sandisk.

I use it in my Nikon D300S along side my Kingston Ultimate 4GB 266X compactflash card.

I purchased a Kingston FCR-HS219/1 Media Reader: USB 2.0 Hi-Speed 19-in-1 because my old media reader would not read the Sandisk class 10 SD card.

All I can say NOW is FASSSSST reads and writes.

The card is being used in my d90. I don't shoot in raw much, just in the large size using fine image quality. With this image setting the card is able to hold 1,000 pics. If I switch to a medium format or the normal setting I think I can get 2,000 pics. So unless you're a professional photographer who need much larger storage, this card should be more than enough.

I rarely shoot more than a few hundred so this works well for me. Besides, you can always delete as you go. Additionally, the download speed to my computer is really fast. Usually under a minute. Great card, and seeing that Sandisk ran a rebate it was a good price.

I think speed is important when you want to store both pictures and videos. And this seems to be the fastest memory card on the market. Also, I've been using SanDisk memory cards since many years, and I never had any problem.

I used this card in my Pentax K20D last week in a travel to San Francisco. I didn't shot series so I can't evaluate speed (I will do that later) but in terms of capacity and reliability, this is a good investment (I shoot 490 HiRes JPEG images and the card was plenty of room for more). This product comes with a "rescue" software; nice add on.This card doesn't come with a card reader. I could not access the data using my old card reader but for the price ([$] after rebate) that is not an issue.My next buy will be the 16GB version (to shot as RAW)

Great product! Can't beat the price. My dslr can use other sd cards but, the extreme III is the only card that allows your camera to really work fast.

The SanDisk 30MB/s drive accepted RAW + JPEG FINE files as fast as my Nikon D90 could shoot them and the 8GB capacity allowed lots of shooting before uploading the images. The images uploaded quickly too, using my PC's built-in reader.

Bought for Nikon D90. Stores over 2,000 large, fine jpeg images per card. Would probably buy 4GB if doing over as I always download images before I even reach a couple hundred.

this card seems to be first quality and it has a very fast speed.
I got this for the D90 Nikon camera.
It has so far proved to be a very top quality card.
I will not get a bigger card as it had way more capacity even in RAW
than I will use in several months use.

I have a Canon G10 - this card will write them as fast as I can take them in RAW format. I bought one, and I'm so happy with it that I bought 3 more for spares and other SD devices around the house.

I use this in my 10 megapixal digital camera, and I get fantastic speed, and color. Each picture comes out clear, with amazing resolution. I get much better results than I did with 2 other different memory cards.

It took 18 secs to save an RAW image with my regular 4GB SDHC but it only took 11 secs for this Extreme III 8GB SDHC. If the price were cheaper on the 16GB Extreme III then I would've gotten that instead. But I'm very happy with this 8GB. [...]
